STEMviz

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 25, 2026

Draft notice. This page was prepared to cover the standard requirements of Polish and EU consumer-protection and data-protection law, but it is not legal advice. STEMviz's operator has not yet completed business registration — trader-identity fields below are placeholders. Have a Polish/EU-qualified lawyer review this page before accepting real payments.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of STEMviz, an interactive online platform for learning Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry (the "Service"). They also serve as the Service's regulamin świadczenia usług drogą elektroniczną required under Polish law. By creating an account, or by purchasing access, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who operates STEMviz

STEMviz is operated by: [to be completed once STEMviz's operator registers a JDG], [registered business address — to be completed] (Poland), NIP: [NIP — to be completed] ("we", "us", "the operator"). Contact: stemvizapp@gmail.com.

As of the last update above, the operator has not yet completed registration of a formal business entity in Poland. This section will be updated with the full legal name, registered address and NIP once that registration is complete, and real purchases will not be accepted before it is.

2. The Service

STEMviz provides syllabus-organised lessons, interactive visualizations, quizzes, exercises and flashcards. Some chapters are free to preview; the remainder ("Premium chapters") require a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription, described in Section 4. We provide the Service "as is" on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Accounts

  • You need an account (email/password, or Google sign-in) to purchase or access Premium chapters.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your email address current, since it is how we send account, purchase and legal notices.
  • The Service is intended for users aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, you may only use STEMviz with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, consistent with Article 8 of the GDPR.

4. Purchases and price

Premium access is offered per product (a single subject, a bundle, or the Full Course Bundle at $137 USD) as either a one-time purchase, unlocking that product for your account permanently, or a monthly subscription, billed automatically every month at the then-current price until you cancel. Prices are shown in USD and may be subject to VAT or other taxes depending on your country of residence, charged at checkout where applicable. We do not currently store your full payment card details — payments are handled by a third-party payment processor.

A subscription renews automatically; you can cancel it at any time as described in the Refund & Withdrawal Policy §6 — cancelling stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer located in the EU or EEA, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason — for a subscription, this applies to its first billing period. Because Premium access is digital content delivered immediately on purchase, this right works differently from physical goods — see the Refund & Withdrawal Policy for the full explanation, including how the 14-day right can be lost once you expressly ask for immediate access.

6. License and acceptable use

A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access Premium chapters for your own learning. You may not resell, share your account credentials, scrape, redistribute, or publicly republish the lessons, visualizations, or underlying source code. All content, branding and software are the intellectual property of the operator or its licensors.

7. Content accuracy

We take care to keep formulas, derivations and syllabus references accurate, but STEMviz is a learning aid, not a substitute for your official curriculum, textbook or exam board guidance. If you spot an error, please report it to stemvizapp@gmail.com.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms (e.g. credential sharing, fraud, or a payment chargeback), without prejudice to any statutory rights you hold as a consumer.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator's liability for losses arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any statutory consumer-protection rights under Polish or EU law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another EU member state, this choice of law does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of that country's law, per Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation (EC 593/2008). EU consumers may also bring a complaint through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Complaints

To raise a complaint about the Service or a purchase, email stemvizapp@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 14 calendar days.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
